Below are photos from a jaunt to Thomasville, GA for its Victorian Christmas celebration. Honestly, it was a little light on the Victorian angle from what I saw, but it was fun nonetheless! Several blocks of the historic downtown were closed off for pedestrians from 6pm-10pm, shops stayed open late, musicians were out and about, and the streets were lined with vendors serving hot cocoa and warm snacks. It was packed! The weather was perfect – cool enough to feel festive and Christmas-y, without being uncomfortably cold. All in all, a really nice evening (and the site of my official “birthday dinner” since we didn’t really do anything the day of).
